POSITAL Reinvents the Inclinometer | |
POSITAL has updated its TILTIX inclinometers with new three-axis
New generation TILTIX inclinometers feature improved programmability. Users can get the performance characteristics they need through simple firmware updates. |
Measurement setups include single axis (0-360°), two-axis (± 90 °) or 2-axis pitch/roll (± 180°). |
Signal filtering can be fine-tuned to optimize signal quality and dynamic response for different applications, e.g. monitoring tilt angles in mobile machinery or controlling the motion of crane booms or excavator arms. |
New 3-axis MEMS accelerometers reduce cross-axis sensitivity and improve measurement accuracy to ± 0.1 degrees over the full range of tilt angles. Tilt angles, accelerations and rotation rates can all be output to the control system. |
Available Dynamic TILTIX inclinometers are acceleration-compensated to ensure reliable measurements during rapid movements. |
Fiber-reinforced plastic housings or IP69K-rated metal enclosures |
CANopen and Analog interfaces. SSI and Modbus-RTU coming soon. |
